TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required upon placing the order to confirm your booking.
2. Balance Due: The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the order.
3. Late Payment: Late payments after the due date may be subject to additional fees of 2.5%.
4. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation made less than 10 days before the event shall result in the forfeiture of the whole deposit. Outside of the 10-day window, a full refund will be provided.
5. Refund: If you seek a refund for any other reason, please contact us via our website or email and we will consider each request at our reasonable discretion. We will notify you of the outcome of your refund request within 14 days. If your refund is approved, we will process the refund within 14 days. No refund will be provided for products that have been inappropriately stored, opened, used, or damaged after delivery or after the time the platter was asked to be ready.
6. Amendment: Any changes to your platter or grazing table must be made at least 10 days before your event.
7. Liability: We shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or any delay in the performance of, our obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event").
8. Return of Catering Products and Damages: All catering products provided by Platters R Us must be returned to us on collection day, and clients are responsible for ensuring the safe return of all catering products. Any damages or loss of catering products will result in additional charges, which may include repair or replacement costs. Platters R Us reserves the right to assess damages and determine the appropriate charges.
9. Food Safety: All of our food is prepared with meticulous attention to food safety standards in our certified kitchen. We take full responsibility for the platters until they are in the care of our clients or until the designated ready time. Beyond this point, however, Platters ‘R’ Us cannot accept liability for the produce. To ensure the freshness and safety of our offerings, we recommend the following precautions:

Keep the food covered and away from heat or direct sunlight.

Set up the food indoors to avoid exposure to flies, insects, or excessive heat that may spoil the food.

Consume all items within two hours of setup or delivery.
10. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws in force in New Zealand. Each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
